Seed BARS

18-20 bites
15-20 minutes
2 year old + (or blitz seed mix for under 2's)
Allergens: Sesame

Ingredients

1 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup pumpkin seeds
1⁄2 cup desiccated coconut
1⁄2 cup hemp seeds
1⁄2 cup chia seeds
1⁄2 cup tahini
1⁄2 cup maple syrup
4 squares dark chocolate

Instructions

Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

In a mixing bowl, add all dry ingredients together. Then in another small bowl, mix your tahini and maple syrup.

Add the wet with the dry ingredients and mix until all is well combined. Pour your mixture into moulds or dish of choice. These work well in mini muffin tins, mini loaf tins or one large loaf tin.

The thinner they are, the better. You don't want them to be too thick as the inside won’t cook through.

Bake for approximately 15-20 minutes in the oven or until golden and crispy.

Once they are ready, let them cool for at least 15 minutes, they could fall apart if they aren’t well set so its important you don’t rush them!

Once cooled, melt your chocolate of choice and drizzle over for some choccy goodness. Store in fridge and as always, ENJOY!!
